Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the unman.media website and the services provided by unman.media ("we", "us", "our"), a digital growth agency based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
By accessing our website or entering into a service agreement with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or engage our services.
Our Services
unman.media provides digital growth services including, but not limited to:
- Social media strategy, management, and content creation
- Brand identity design and creative services
- Performance marketing, paid advertising, and SEO
- Website design, development, and digital platform builds
- Consulting, strategy, and analytics services
The specific scope of services for each client is defined in a separate Service Agreement or Statement of Work signed prior to commencement of work. These Terms apply in addition to any such agreement.
Client Engagements
All client engagements are subject to the following conditions:
- A signed Service Agreement or accepted proposal is required before work begins
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate briefs, assets, and approvals in a timely manner
- Delays caused by the client's failure to provide required materials may affect project timelines without liability to unman.media
- Revisions beyond the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees
- unman.media reserves the right to decline any project at its discretion
Our minimum engagement period for retainer services is three (3) months. Project-based engagements are governed by the timeline specified in the relevant Service Agreement.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise specified in a Service Agreement:
- Retainer fees are invoiced monthly in advance
- Project fees require a 50% deposit before work commences, with the remainder due upon completion
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue
- Late payments may incur a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance
- Work may be paused or terminated for accounts overdue by more than 30 days
All fees are quoted and invoiced in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise agreed. Taxes applicable under UAE law will be added where required.
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, all creative deliverables produced exclusively for a client become the property of that client. This includes brand assets, copy, and design files as specified in the Service Agreement.
Until full payment is received, all work remains the intellectual property of unman.media. We retain the right to:
- Display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials (unless a confidentiality clause is agreed)
- Use general methodologies, strategies, and frameworks developed during engagements
- Retain copies of all deliverables for our records
Clients warrant that any materials provided to unman.media (logos, images, content, etc.) do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat as confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the engagement. This includes business strategies, financial data, unreleased products, and client information.
This obligation continues for two (2) years after the termination of the engagement. Neither party will disclose the other's confidential information to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, unman.media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website.
Our total liability in connection with any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate a retainer engagement by providing 30 days' written notice. Project-based engagements may be terminated as specified in the relevant Service Agreement.
unman.media may terminate an engagement immediately without notice if:
- The client fails to make payment after 30 days overdue
- The client engages in abusive, threatening, or unlawful behaviour toward our team
- The client requests work that violates applicable law or ethical standards
Upon termination, fees for work completed up to the termination date remain due and payable.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
